Sandbar - "Like A Tree Planted by Water"
The scene was invented in the winter from memory using experimental color layering. This water view has warm values to hint at colors found in early spring. The original watercolor is matted with a 2" white boarder, a custom, white oak frame and plexiglass glazing.
This work also has a limited edition of giclee prints with a verse from Jeremiah 17:7-8. ("Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord and whose trust is the Lord. For he shall be like a tree planted by the water, that extends its roots by a stream, and will not fear when heat comes; but its leaves will be green, and will not be anxious in the year of drought nor cease to yield fruit.")
The text is separated from the image and a double window mat fits beautifully in a 11"x14" standard frame. Contact me if interested in obtaining a print with the verse.
